One of the biggest problems facing modern Christianity is the sin of idolatry.
In Exodus 20:5, we read that God’s commandments include:
Do not bow down to any idol in worship because I alone am Lord God and I tolerate no rivals, I bring punishment upon those who transgress me as well as their descendants down to the 3rd and 4th generation.
This commandment strictly forbids the worship of any mortal man – including Jesus of Nazareth (whom I often refer to by their anatomically correct name, Yeshua *Yiddish for “Joshua“). Yet, a significant portion of Christianity today worships this mortal man as “lord and savior”. This is a perversion of his very own teachings as described in Matthew 23:9, which reads:
Call no man on Earth your Father, for you have one Father, who is in Heaven.
Yeshua (Jesus) came as a teacher of the law, and the Jews persecuted him because they could not accept these teachings he brought. Specifically, they could not accept that he was the Son of God. Yet, this position is valid when considered from the perspective of John 10:33-34, which reads:
We are not stoning you for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, who are a man, declare yourself to be God.” Jesus replied,“Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said, you are gods’?
And the scripture being referred to in this verse is found in Psalm 82:6:
‘You are gods’, I have said; ‘All of you are sons of the Most High.’
What this means is that through the power of belief, each and every human being has the potential to be godly, and with that power comes responsibility: we are charged with saving those among us who are lost, sent to save those who are in need of repent. In Luke 19:10, we read:
For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.
From this passage we know that all who abide in the Holy Spirit have the power to save not only themselves, but other faithful as well, from the corruption of this world. However, one must be humble enough to acknowledge that without spiritual guidance, they are enslaved by this world because this world is a product of deception.
As Yeshua warned in Matthew 16:6:
Jesus said: ‘Take care to be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
In this verse, Yeshua is not talking about the yeast of bread, he is referring to the deception of their false doctrines which they foist upon mankind.
He again warns the people of this in Matthew 23:2-3, which reads:
The religious teachers of the law and the Pharisees are the authorized interpreters of Moses’ law. Therefore abide by whatever orders they give you, but to do adopt the doctrines they profess, for they practice not what they preach.
Put simply, this nefarious group who hold the power of dictation until the end of this current age, do not live by the cultural customs, modalities, and social conventions that they themselves encourage others to. They are hypocritical in nature, as noted by Matthew 23:27, which reads:
Woe unto you, Pharisee, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but on the inside, are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, you appear on the outside as righteous, but on the inside, you are full of iniquity and wickedness.
Modern Christianity is impotent because it makes no attempt to address these controversies. Instead, it misleads its congregations into believing that there is nothing left to fight for – that all a churchgoer needs to do is occupy a pew on a weekly basis and wait for the return of the Lord. However, God only helps those who use their talents to uplift. The Lord will surely make his return, and those who have been squandering their mortal existence accumulating material wealth and worldly status will not be looked highly upon.
Indeed, this world’s opinion of a person will have no bearing on their admittance to heaven. In Matthew 20:16, we read:
So the last will be first, and the first will be last.
And yet most people today who call themselves Christians, cling to this world as though it is all there is and ever shall be.
In Matthew 6:19, it states:
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
It has become fashionable to call oneself Christian, and that is why people now identify with it, but I can assure you it wasn’t fashionable when the Apostles were being persecuted throughout Asia Minor …
There was a time when those who called themselves Christians found fellowship with one another because there was a mutual understanding and bond of trust between them. But today, the teachings of the Church has become so perverted, so distorted, so diluted, that there are many who call themselves Christians, yet aid in the persecution of it’s faithful!
They love the ways of this world, not because they are just and true, but because it provides them a false sense of security, to be amongst the other “approvers” who depend on their opinions and mannerism being approved by everyone. Everything they do is for show, a pretentious display of worldly status.
They are allergic to criticism and lack the fortitude to stand by their convictions if challenged. They consistently avoid doing the right thing and instead do the easy thing. Always the path of least resistance. Their worst fear is the disapproval of people whom they have little or nothing in common with!
Take not such people as allies. Make no treaty with them. Do not confide in them, and keep trade with them to a bare minimum.
It is not that they themselves are evil people (although cowardly). Their fault is that they have not awoken to the nature of their predicament yet. They remain asleep, unaware that the worldview they have adopted as their own is false.
Do not try and “wake up” the masses, for humanity is redeemed one person at a time.
As a rule of thumb, a person who is not willing to humble themselves and admit that every human who has every lived has sinned, cannot be saved.
As we read in Romans 3:23:
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Those who desire to be saved must be willing to have an honest conversation with themselves. They must be willing to examine their own life, and consider how a perfectly righteous deity would judge them. To the degree that a person deviates from this judgement, they shall labour, and their work will continue until they are absolved of their wrongdoing in the eyes of the Most High.
Returning to our original theme of idolatry, this means that the Church must admit that a mortal man (Yeshua) born of woman (Mary), is not their “Lord and Savior”. Nor did this man rise again three days after being crucified.
Many denominations today teach that Jesus was crucified, descended into hell, then was resurrected in the flesh and once again walked the earth …
This is nonsense. A dead man stays dead.
It is part of the law of this world that no person, once having perished, can rise again in the flesh. Nor did Jesus “descend into hell”, which is an abomination I have heard pastors of the Catholic Church in Canada preach numerous times now.
As the OAHSPE Bible more accurately tells of this prophet (Yeshua/Joshua):
Joshu, was of Israelitish birth, and also an i-e-su, born near Jerusalem [around two thousand years B.K. –ed.]. His predecessors were of the tribe called Es‘seans (Essenes), or non-resistants. He labored to restore the true Mosaical teachings. Ultimately he was stoned to death in Jerusalem. He also taught the doctrine of one Great Spirit only. In the Christian New Testament it has been supposed that the so-called Sermon on the Mount is a plagiarism on Joshu‘s teachings, adapted by the Ecumenical Council under the direction of the emperor Constantine.
The OAHSPE further elucidates the life, work, and death of Jesus:
For three years, Joshu traveled among the Israelites, preaching, and restoring the ancient doctrines.
And there were gathered in groups, of tens, twenties and fifties, more than two thousand Israelites, of the ancient Order of Moses, who became steadfast followers of the teachings of Joshu.
But, because of persecution by the apostate Jews, they kept themselves aloof from the world, having signs and passwords, by which they knew one another.
First the God, Baal, and after him, Thoth, inspired the kings and rulers, against these Faithists.And they proved them by commanding them to eat flesh, even swine‘s flesh, which, if they refused, was sufficient testimony under the laws, to convict them of being enemies against the Gods.
So they were scourged, and put to death, whenever found.
Now it came to pass that Joshu went into Jerusalem to preach, and in not many days after that, he was accused of preaching Jehovih.
And he was arrested, and while being carried to prison, he said: You are hypocrites and blasphemers!
You practice none of the commandments, but all the evils of satan.
Behold, the temple shall be split in two, and you shall become vagabonds on the earth.
At that, the multitude cast stones upon him, and killed him!
And Jehovih sent a chariot of fire, and bore his soul to Paradise.
Yeshua is not the Savior of mankind. He is a teacher unto them. In response to his doctrine, he was persecuted and killed, but did not “rise again” corporeally (as the false teachers within the Church profess today).
At this point, I remind the reader that we are not sent to affirm the status quo, but to disrupt it so that a new paradigm of thought might emerge.
As it reads in Luke 12:51:
Do you think that I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I tell you, but division.
I encourage all followers of our work to challenge the false doctrine of mortal resurrection wherever you happen to find it, and further, wherever you find idolators professing the divinity of a mortal man, recognize the infidelity of their ways.
God punishes those who defy his commandments, and those who practice the sin of idolatry will not escape His judgement.
